Choose the credential style that best fits your access-control application:
These HID-compatible credentials are suitable for commercial offices, schools, universities, healthcare facilities, industrial properties, government facilities, recreation centers, apartment communities, fitness centers and other organizations using an existing 35-bit Corporate 1000 access-control format.
The HID Corporate 1000 program was created to give large organizations a company-specific access-control credential format with a large pool of available card numbers. The legacy Corporate 1000 format commonly found in existing systems is a 35-bit Wiegand format containing a company code and credential number.
Corporate 1000 35-bit may also be described as:
The 35-bit Corporate 1000 format is different from the standard 26-bit H10301, 37-bit H10302, 37-bit H10304 and newer 48-bit Corporate 1000 formats. These formats are not interchangeable unless the access-control system is specifically configured to accept each format.
The traditional 35-bit Corporate 1000 structure generally provides:
The company code may sometimes be called a facility code, site code or Corporate 1000 code. When ordering replacement credentials, it is important to provide the exact code terminology and values used by the existing system.
AuthorizID Corporate 1000 compatible credentials may be used as alternatives to credential styles commonly associated with the following HID model numbers:
Other commonly marketed compatible products include AlphaPass APROX-COMP-35 composite proximity cards, 3millID Corporate 1000 compatible ISO cards, ValuProx Corporate 1000 compatible cards and IDenticard UBand 35-bit Corporate 1000 wristbands.
These model numbers are provided for comparison and search-reference purposes. AuthorizID products are independently manufactured compatible credentials unless a listing specifically identifies the product as genuine HID.
Because Corporate 1000 is the encoded data format, the reader must first support the credential’s 125 kHz HID Prox radio technology. The access-control panel or software must then be configured to interpret the 35-bit Corporate 1000 data structure.
Common HID readers that may support these credentials include:
When ordered or configured with legacy 125 kHz HID Prox support:
When the reader includes an HID Prox antenna and the low-frequency technology is enabled:
Other third-party multi-technology readers may also support HID Prox credentials. Compatibility should always be confirmed using the reader’s complete model number and configuration profile.
A reader recognizing a 125 kHz HID-compatible credential does not necessarily mean the access-control system will correctly process its 35-bit data.
The complete system must support:
Many readers simply transmit the credential data to the controller. The access-control panel or management software is normally responsible for interpreting the company code, card number and parity structure.
To produce credentials for an existing system, please provide as much of the following information as possible:
If the original box label is unavailable, AuthorizID may request a known working credential or a raw data read before confirming compatibility.
HID states that there is no special credential part number used only for Corporate 1000. The desired HID credential model is ordered and programmed with the organization’s assigned Corporate 1000 format and next authorized credential-number range.
AuthorizID compatible credentials are intended to reproduce customer-supplied, authorized credential data for an existing access-control system. Unless specifically identified as genuine HID credentials issued through the HID Corporate 1000 program, independently manufactured compatible credentials are not manufactured, registered or number-tracked by HID.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate format information and confirming that they are authorized to order credentials using the submitted company code and credential-number range.
Whether you need printable employee badges, durable proximity key fobs, waterproof wristbands or compact adhesive tags, AuthorizID can help identify the correct credential style for your existing 125 kHz Corporate 1000 system.
Before placing a large order, we strongly recommend testing a sample credential with the actual readers and access-control system installed at your facility.
